Loneliness is a quiet epidemic. Plenty of people have things they want to do — grab a coffee, start going to the gym, hike a trail on the weekend, sit down for a proper dinner — but no one to do them with. Friends move away, schedules never line up, and it can feel strange to do these things alone. Meetzy exists to close that gap: to help people find a verified activity partner and turn an ordinary plan into an actual outing.

We believe the answer to loneliness is not more scrolling; it is showing up somewhere, with someone, in real life. So Meetzy is built entirely around planned, in-person activities. You browse verified members, pick something to do, agree a transparent meetup fee, and meet. That is the whole product — real-world hangouts between accountable people.

Meetzy is explicitly not a dating app and not an escort service. It is a marketplace for verified activity partners and hangout buddies, built for planned, paid, in-person activities — coffee, gym sessions, hikes and dinners — nothing more and nothing less. That clarity is intentional, and it shapes every decision we make.

Dating apps optimise for romance and endless matching; social media optimises for attention and time spent staring at a feed. Meetzy optimises for one thing: a good real-world meetup that actually happens. Instead of anonymous swiping, every profile is identity-verified before it is visible. Instead of ambiguity about what a meeting is, the activity and the fee are agreed up front. Instead of taking payment on blind trust, the fee is held in escrow and released only after an OTP-confirmed, in-person meeting. It is consent-based throughout — either party can decline or end a plan at any time.

Meetzy was founded by Raj Gupta, an MBA graduate from NMIMS Navi Mumbai. Raj started Meetzy to solve a problem he saw everywhere: capable, interesting people who simply did not have anyone to do things with, and who found existing apps either unsafe, unclear, or pointed at the wrong goal. Meetzy is his answer — a safe, transparent, verification-first way to meet an activity partner and actually get out of the house.

Meetzy is live in Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore and Pune, with activities including Coffee, Gym Buddy, Hiking Partner and Dinner. We are growing city by city and activity by activity, deliberately, so that the experience stays safe and high-quality as we scale.
