A plan is an activity plus an area plus a time window, posted by an ID-verified host. Anyone can ask to join with an optional one-line hello. The host sets how many people can join when they post it — one for a one-on-one plan, or up to a dozen for a group — and accepts that many requests before the plan closes.

No. Before a match, others only see what you choose to put on a plan or a join request — your full profile stays hidden. Full profiles unlock for both people only after a host accepts a join request, and that same moment opens the DM. Nobody can browse members, because the feed is made of plans, not people.

Safety is built into the flow rather than bolted on. Every host is identity-verified, plans are consent-based so either person can back out at any point, phone numbers, emails and links are blocked in chat, and the in-person check-in confirms the meetup actually happened. When you meet, one of you sees a 4-digit code and reads it out; the other types it into their app. That's it — it only proves the two of you were in the same place at the same time. It unlocks nothing else, moves no money, and shares no personal details.

Chat blocks phone numbers, email addresses and external links on purpose. It keeps early conversations inside a space where reports and moderation actually work, and it means nobody can pressure you for contact details before you've met. You can always share them yourself, in person, once you want to.

Nothing happens — there's no penalty and nothing to lose, because no money is involved between the two of you. Either person can cancel before the meetup, and the plan simply closes. Hosts are free to post the plan again, and repeat no-shows can be reported.

Yes. You can have multiple plans live at once — a coffee on Saturday, a gym session on Tuesday — and each one is handled separately. Every plan still ends with you accepting one single person.

Every profile and chat has a report option, and reporting also lets you block that person immediately. Reports go to the Meetzy team with the relevant chat context attached, and verified accounts can be suspended or removed. For anything urgent, email support.meetzy@gmail.com.

After a completed meetup, both people can leave a review of each other. Reviews are only possible when a meetup was actually confirmed in person, so they can't be left by someone you never met. That's what keeps the ratings on Meetzy meaningful.
